“We are building a new house. We scheduled the installation of our shutters for the day after closing. The entire experience from the measurement to the installation went perfectly without a hitch. They highly exceeded my expectations in every respect. Very professional and knowledgeable. I ordered shutters for six windows. I figured it would take all day for the process. They were in and out within an hour and a half. The shutters are so beautiful. The quality is top notch. The shutters also arrived exactly on the day they were promised. Everyone I had contact with was wonderful. I would highly recommend this company to my best friend. I had priced shutters from another company who ships them to your home and you install them yourself. This company was almost as economical as the DYI version. I just can’t say enough good things. You can use my name in this if you like. Thanks to everyone for making this an awesome experience.”

    Estate shutters’ wide slats, usually three-and-a-half to four inches wide, set them apart from other types of shutters. Their larger louvers result in fewer slats per vertical foot, which means they can let in more light, and, if windows are open, more air. Air is good, because the cost (ours were $22 a square foot, including installation *cough*) can make you hyperventilate.
    “They used to be a lot more expensive,” said Nathan Swartz, who owns Shutter Professionals, in Orlando, and who’s worked in the business 22 years. “When the import market opened up 20 years ago, the cost dropped by almost half.”
    I guess that’s some consolation.
    “What once was a luxury for the top 10 percent of homeowners, suddenly became accessible,” he said.

    After a couple of estimates for Plantation shutters for our condo, we settled on Shutter Professionals. And Professional they are! I cannot begin to tell you how satisfied we are, especially the wife! She was ecstatic after the installation was completed. We had a remodel done on our master bedroom. Adding the Plantation Shutters gave the room a totally different look which is amazing! Shutter Professionals is a family owned business. Nathan (owner) and his son were courteous, efficient and just a great team. They showed up on schedule. We had 4 sets of Plantation Shutters installed that took about 1 1/2 hours. The shutter quality is top notch! And lest I forget, the price for the shutters and installation was, can I say incredible? Find out yourself and get an estimate from sales manager Dean Marshall. His presentation was exceptional and he answered every question we had. If I could post pictures, I would. And, if I could, I would give them a 10 star rating….trust me. If you are in the market for Plantation Shutters, you would be wise to make Shutter Professionals your go to company.
