Window shutters are great for many people, but they are not without their good share of critics. Many people who do not know much about window shutters often assume that they do not offer enough privacy for the individual or the home that has these shutters. Wimauma residents for example might not think that window shutters would be appropriate for a bathroom because they think that in order for them to let in light, you would have to give up all of your privacy. Window Shutters are just as effective if not better at giving a bathroom enough privacy as standard blinds and curtains.
Blinds: Blind Spots and Corners
Even when blinds are fully closed, someone looking from the outside of a window can still see the inside of your home or room by looking at the cracks and corners that cannot be completely stopped by blinds. Maybe curtains on top of blinds will cover all spots, but they are still not as practical as window shutters. Wimauma residents who close their shutters properly will cut out all angles or viewpoints into your home because they are installed affixed to the window frame in order to give the user complete privacy.
The Bathroom Scenario
Most people who have never used window shutters would say that while the louvers are open, the person is completely exposed to the outside world through their shutters. Wimauma residents should know that in order to use your window shutters to the best of their ability, you do not have to completely expose yourself or your home. Often times these window shutters operate in sections. If you wanted a little more privacy such as having an open window in a bathroom, a homeowner can only open the top section of shutters if they choose to do so. Unless you are taller than six and a half to seven feet, no one is going to be able to see into your bathroom through the top shutter.
