There are many types of window shutters that homeowners can choose from. Exterior window shutters may be made of different designs, but it is most common to see a plantation style window shutter, which consists of many louvers that descend vertically. When it comes to these house shutters, Tampa residents should know that plantation shutters are such a common design that they are even replicated in interior window shutters.
Interior Window Shutters
Interior window shutters are much more common today than exterior window shutters because they offer a lot of great benefits to homeowners and are easier to maintain and operate. When looking into house shutters, Tampa residents should know that interior window shutters can be differentiated from exterior window shutters because exterior window shutters do not wrap around the window sill, but simply hug the sides. Additionally, interior window shutters are able to be moved and positioned by a tilt bar that runs down the middle or the sides of the shutters, and this is not a feature that is available for exterior window shutters.
